  • Patent number: 11911839
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a first die, the first die including a first dielectric layer and a plurality of first bond pads formed within apertures in the first dielectric layer, and a second die bonded to the first die, the second die including a second dielectric layer and a plurality of second bond pads protruding from the second dielectric layer. The first die is bonded to the second die such that the plurality of second bond pads protrude into the apertures in the first dielectric layer to establish respective metallurgical bonds with the plurality of first bond pads. A reduction in the distance between the respective bond pads of the dies results in a lower temperature for establishing a hybrid bond.

  • Publication number: 20230330289
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for injection and retraction of a fluid. The system includes a switch configured to be activated, wherein activation of the switch activates an electrical control system. The system further includes a linear actuator that interfaces with the electrical control system. The electrical control system causes the linear actuator to depress a plunger, keep the plunger depressed for a predetermined time, and retract the plunger after the predetermined time. The system further includes a fluid reservoir engageable with the plunger, wherein the depression of the plunger causes fluid to be injected from the fluid reservoir into a connector and the retraction of the plunger causes fluid to be retracted into the fluid reservoir and out of the connector.

  • Patent number: 10489524
Abstract: A method for generating synthetic data records which include datasets that capture state-based transitions, according to which a state transition family is randomly selecting, according to the distribution of samples between the different clusters of users and the context variables are randomly sampled according to their distribution within the chosen cluster. The relevant Markov Chains models are selected according to the sampled context and the initial state of the sequence is randomly selected according to the distribution of states. A random walk process is initialized on the graph models and the random walk is performed process on each context separately, assuming context independency. The cause condition of the current transition is sampled for each state transition, based on the distributions on the selected edge.

  • Patent number: 7245761
Abstract: An algorithm is provided for reducing distortion in an image captured by a camera or other imaging system having more than one optical viewpoint. The algorithm can use a captured image, statistical information regarding the depths of scene objects, and information regarding the geometrical characteristics of the imaging system to generate an approximation of a perspective projection representing the scene. The virtual viewpoint of the approximate perspective projection is selected so as to reduce distortion. The resulting image has less distortion than that of an image generated under an assumption that scene objects are infinitely distant. In addition, the parameters of any distortion reducing function can be optimized by minimizing an objective function representing the amount of image distortion.
