  • Patent number: 7581779
Abstract: A motor vehicle door has an outer module and an inner module. The outer module contains an outer panel and an inner frame part to which an impact support and hinges can be fixed. For the motor vehicle door to have a simplified configuration and a low weight while having a high degree of rigidity, the inner frame part of the outer module is formed by a single-piece diecast part made of a metal alloy. The inner module contains an upper encircling window frame and a lower assembly support sheet. The upper window frame is configured as a single-piece diecast part made of a metal alloy. A lower frame part of the upper window frame is connected to the upper border region of the assembly support sheet with a longitudinally running hollow support being formed, and the upper window frame is connected locally to the inner frame part.

  • Patent number: 6383185
Abstract: The medullary nail (10) for bone distraction has an electric motor drive (20) that is located in its interior (11), preferably in its interior (11) in the area of its tip (12), and is connected with a reception antenna (32) for feeding energy via an electrical connection (31). The reception antenna (32) and the electrical connection (31) are located entirely in the interior (11) of the medullary nail (10). The medullary nail (10) is equipped with an orifice (14), which faces the reception antenna (32) and allows the feeding of energy.

  • Patent number: 5976138
Abstract: The distraction system for long bones includes a guide socket (42) and an intramedullary pin (10). It will make possible, in addition to elongation, also a segmental dislocation, as well as a segmental dislocation in combination with an elongation without repeated surgical intervention, while assuring a sufficient pressure on the bone contact surfaces of the docking site. Intramedullary pin (10) is thus provided on its outside wall with a projection (41) which engages in a longitudinal hole (43) in guide socket (42), whereby intramedullary pin (10) is secured against rotation by means of guide socket (42) attached in the long bone, but can be displaced axially.

  • Patent number: 5474553
Abstract: The setting device for tubular bone fractures (3,4) consists of a longitudinally extended flattened setting element (20) and of bone screws (10), which in each case are connected to one other by means of a screw (11) and a cone (16) in addition to a taper segment section (15). The setting element (20) has an essentially rectangular cross-section of tissue-compatible high-density material, in particular of implant steel. In each of the two end sections (21) of the setting element (20), at least two bores are provided, which extend through the opposite wide sides thereof. The bone screws (10) are guided through these bores. The setting element (20) consists integrally of the two relatively rigid end pieces (21) and a connection piece (31) lying therebetween. This connection piece (31) is in comparison with the end sections (21) elastic as its cross-section is smaller than that of the end sections (21).

  • Patent number: 5263955
Abstract: A medullary nail (10) has a cavity (12) in which an inner part (20) can slide longitudinally without being able to rotate. The wall (11) of the medullary nail (10) which forms the cavity (12) is traversed on opposite sides by an elongated hole (16) in the region of the driving-in end (14). At least one fastening hole (22) aligned flush with the elongated hole (16) is provided in the inner part (20). When the connecting screws are driven into the spaced fastening holes (15, 16, 22) and an osteotomy is located between the connecting screws (15, 22), the edges of the osteotomy are moved apart as the inner part slides longitudinally, and the slowly widening gap between the edges of the osteotomy becomes filled with bone tissue.
