  • Publication number: 20230004150
Abstract: A method creates numerical control data sets for controlling machine tools. The control data sets are read from the machine tools. A first component data set representing a first component design model is received. A first numerical control data set is created for the first component data set using control program generation software, having an assessment routine using a trained machine learning algorithm with settable parameters. A first additional training data set is compiled from the component data set and the created numerical control data set. The first additional training data set is output to a training database. The machine learning algorithm is updated by setting usage-environment-specific values for the parameters determined by training the machine learning training algorithm using the training database.

  • Publication number: 20180246503
Abstract: This disclosure relates to production systems and methods. The production systems include a machine tool for machining workpieces and at least one aerial vehicle, which flies to the machine tool and is equipped with a workpiece application unit configured to apply application data including logistical data to the workpiece, which has been or is still to be machined.

  • Patent number: 9199336
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for allocation of a pipe or several pipes with several pipe parts to be cut for a laser cutting installation, wherein the pipe parts to be cut are selected from an order table. Methods include measuring a length of each of the one or more pipes, calculating, before measuring, a nesting of a pipe part relative to the same pipe part or a different pipe part of the order table, calculating a plurality of pipe allocation variants for a particular pipe of the one or more pipes with the pipe parts to be cut based on the nesting and the measured pipe length of the particular pipe, selecting one of the plurality of calculated pipe allocation variants as a desired pipe allocation, and initiating cutting of the particular pipe based on the desired pipe allocation.

  • Patent number: 4438936
Abstract: A secondary sealing element for axial seal rings, is resistant to stresses due to temperature, pressure, vibration, corrosion, swelling and shrinking. This sealing element is produced of non-rubber-type elastic and non brittle material and its shape, in cross-section, consists of a ring, with a pair of arms to give it an elastic reaction. The double-arm ring forms three radial-type sealing surfaces and is completely locked into a chamber. Special material with low static friction and higher thermal conductivity than rubber material is used. Furthermore the dissipation of heat, produced by the axial sliding rings, will be increased through the double contact area to the shaft by the arms in comparison to an O-ring, and through a wear-resistant and non-corrosive layer on the shaft having at least the thermal conductivity of the basic material.

  • Patent number: 4329155
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the purification of fluoride-containing 65 to 95% strength waste sulfuric acid which contains water, organic impurities and fluoride. The impure sulfuric acid is introduced onto the top tray of a stripping column, in which this waste acid is heated and pre-concentrated. The heated acid then flows into a heating tank filled with boiling concentrated sulfuric acid. The sulfuric acid vapors escaping from this heating tank are condensed in the stripping column by the waste sulfuric acid flowing in counter-current. According to the invention, at least in the region of one tray of the stripping column, construction components which come into contact with acid vapors or liquid acid consist of acid-resistant plastic, at least on the surface.
