Publication number: 20240015147Abstract: An authentication system that supports passive provisioning of an authentication credential includes a widget that controls a user interface and that is embedded in a first inline frame (iframe) of a first webpage and an authenticator that conditionally provides the widget with access to confidential user account information. The authenticator is configured to generate an authentication token and store the authentication token in association with a first session ID associated with a set of inputs received through the user interface and launch a second webpage that includes a second iframe populated with the authentication token, where the second iframe identifies a URL in a same domain as a URL identified by the first iframe embedded within the first webpage. The second webpage further embeds a communication instruction executable to transmit the authentication token from the second iframe embedded within the second webpage to the widget embedded within the first webpage.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2022Publication date: January 11, 2024Inventors: Rajagopalan SRINIVASAN, Janani MURTHY, Edward TRAN, Jeffrey Michael DERSTADT, Nishan NASEER, Debasish MISHRA

Patent number: 7233882Abstract: A method for identifying modes and transitions during plant operation, wherein measured values of process variables are used to evaluate a current state of the process and its sections and subsections. An identified state of the plant is signaled and the plant is monitored for normal execution of any transition, identifying a current task being performed in the process and sending a message to different sections of the plant. Results are displayed on a visual display device and can be sent to other plant computer programs for guidance during the transition. A permanent chronological record of the sequence of events—modes and transitions—of the plant and sections and subsections including the pertinent plant conditions and information is generated for subsequent review and analysis.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2004Date of Patent: June 19, 2007Assignee: National University of Singapore & Honeywell InternationalInventors: Rajagopalan Srinivasan, Anandakrishnan Sundarraman, Pradeep Kumar Viswanathan, Hiranmayee Vedam, Nochur Ananthanarayanan

Patent number: 7094928Abstract: This invention relates to an improved process for synthesizing (±)-2-Amino-N-[2-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl]-2-hydroxyethyl acetamide monohydrochloride in good yield and in a cost effective manner from 1-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-2-bromoethanone by reacting the same with hexamine in the presence of novel solvent system comprising Tetrahydrofuran and water. The resulting aminoethanone is acylated with haloacetylchloride and sodium acetate in acetone-water solvent system. This product is reduced selectively first with sodium borohydride and subsequently with stannous chloride. This product is converted in situ to the corresponding hydrochloride salt immediately after reduction on its own.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2002Date of Patent: August 22, 2006Assignee: Sanmar Specialty Chemicals Ltd.Inventors: Rajaram Sankara Subramanian, Venkatanathan Satagopan, Rajagopalan Srinivasan

Publication number: 20050114078Abstract: Operators and plant computer programs used to operate a complex process facility are aided in managing the process during transitions by a computer-based apparatus. The apparatus incorporates a knowledge base and methods for identifying modes and transitions during plant operation. At frequent intervals, measured values of the process variables are used to evaluate the current state of the process and its sections and subsections. The identified state of the plant is broadcast to different clients of this application. The apparatus monitors the plant for the normal execution of the transition. It also identifies the current task being performed in the process and sends this message to different sections of the plant. The results are displayed on a visual display device and can also be sent to other plant computer programs for guidance during the transition.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2004Publication date: May 26, 2005Inventors: Rajagopalan Srinivasan, Anandakrishnan Sundarraman, Pradeep Viswanathan, Hiranmayee Vedam, Nochur Ananthanarayanan

Patent number: 5240474Abstract: Nitrogen is produced by separating air in a pressure swing adsorption process using a high capacity kinetically O.sub.2 selective material as the adsorbent. An example of such an adsorbent is a carbon molecular sieve made from coconut shell char. Such a coconut shell char having a high oxygen volumetric capacity is provided by crushing and sizing coconut shells to form granules which are then heated in flowing inert gas at a temperature ramp rate of about 2 to 12.degree. C. per minute to a peak temperature of 775 to 900.degree. C. which is then held so that the total heating time is up to 8 hours and thereafter the granular char is cooled in an inert gas atmosphere. The granular char thus produced is kinetically selective for O.sub.2 over N.sub.2 without further modification to narrow the openings of its micropores and has an oxygen volumetric capacity in excess of 8.0 cc/cc at 1 atm. and ambient temperature.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 1992Date of Patent: August 31, 1993Assignee: Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.Inventors: Steven R.
