  • Publication number: 20230394004
Abstract: M.2 Universal Flash Storage (UFS) and combined UFS/PCIe cards are described herein. In one example, the same M.2 interface is reused on the main board of laptop for supporting both PCIe SSD and UFS storage. One M.2 socket can accommodate a UFS Add-In-Card, a combined PCIe/UFS card, and/or a PCIe SSD. In one example, an M.2 UFS card includes a printed circuit board (PCB), an edge to be received by an M.2 connector, conductive contacts at the edge to couple with contacts of the M.2 connector, a UFS storage device, and UFS signal lines between the conductive contacts and the UFS storage device.

  • Publication number: 20220059302
Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to include a keycap with photoluminescent material, a light energy source to emit light energy at a wavelength to activate the photoluminescent material, and an ambient light sensor to activate the light energy source during low ambient light conditions. In an example, the photoluminescent material is quantum dot material.

  • Patent number: 7966235
Abstract: A method providing automatic allocation of a spending limit value among a plurality of recipient departments is disclosed. A spending plan, comprising a plurality of spending limit values, is created. Each spending limit value is associated with a department from among a plurality of departments. A first selected department is identified as a source for allocation of a first spending value. One or more recipient departments are identified as recipients of an allocation of the first spending value. The first spending value is then automatically allocated among the recipients under a specified allocation model, resulting in creating a plurality of allocated spending limit values that are associated with one of the recipient departments. As a result, delay in preparing spending plans is reduced because allocations are rapidly, automatically computed and distributed to department plans.

  • Patent number: 7657471
Abstract: Techniques providing automatic control of a distributed electronic financial plan are disclosed. A set of financial statements is created and populated with planned data values that are stored in a database. In certain embodiments, statements in the set are logically linked to facilitate automatic updating as changes occur. The P&L, balance sheet and statement of cash flow are all automatically configured with certain calculated lines and standard lines that maintain proper accounting relationships among the electronic financial plan documents. Spending lines of the P&L are linked meaningfully to constrain spending plans of the corresponding underlying departments so that the P&L becomes conservative in terms of spending. One or more organizational hierarchies may be created and stored, based on departmental organization or revenue flows, and sets of P&Ls, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows are associated with nodes in these hierarchies.

  • Publication number: 20090319342
Abstract: Documents are collected from a variety of publicly available sources that contain product data including product reviews, product specifications, price information and the like. Snippets of text obtained from the documents are analyzed for relevance, sentiment, credibility and other aspects that help evaluate the quality of a product. Feature vectors are computed for snippets to analyze relevance, sentiment, or credibility. Statistical analysis is performed on the feature vectors to estimate a measure of the relevance, sentiment, or credibility. Factors associated with various snippets are aggregated to compute a quality score for a product or a particular aspect of product including product features, attributes, usages, or user personas. Information is displayed on a user interface that allows the user to examine the details relevant to computation of the quality score.
