Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide approaches for integrating and searching electronic communications received from a plurality of different communication platforms. Specifically, a consolidated communication/messaging platform integrates and consolidates bi-directional communications/messages from individuals, groups, or other entities from various channels (e.g., text messaging, instant messaging, social networking platforms, e-mail, and the like), and enables end users to search and locate content or substance of a specific communication via a user interface and locally stored repository.

Abstract: Aspects retrieve, organize and display different classifications of sets of search results in different, respective tabbed sheets that are nested on top of one another in a web-based interface dashboard. A text string search query is classified into constituent primary search terms that are likely to return satisfactory search results as indicated by retrieved search history data as a function of search resources and language classification rules associated with the user identity indicia. Secondary search terms related to the primary search terms and including synonyms and antonyms are determined as substitutes for the primary search terms in response to search history indicating follow-up searches immediately subsequent to searches of the primary search terms at less than a specified threshold of frequency. The set of peripheral knowledge article results is generated by searching knowledge article resources for background information on the primary search terms or the secondary search terms.

Abstract: A computer system identifies a pattern of usage of the computer system by a first user, wherein the identified pattern of usage comprises of a first and a second step. The computer system determines the number of times that the first user performs the steps of the identified pattern of usage surpasses a first threshold value. The computer system creates an automation so that each time the first user performs the first step of the identified pattern of usage, the computer system performs the second step of the identified pattern of usage.

The smart calendar system includes the following: a database for storing activity data associated with a user, wherein the activity data includes items scheduled for the user; an interface for receiving and storing profile data associated with the user; an analysis engine that includes: a system for selecting and interfacing with a plurality of external knowledge databases to obtain knowledge data associated with the user; a system that integrates the profile data, activity data, and knowledge data into a collection of integrated scheduling information; a suggestion system that suggests modifications to the items scheduled for the user, based on the integrated scheduling information; and a conflict system that identifies potential conflicts in the items scheduled for the user, based on the integrated scheduling information.

Abstract: A method, system and program product for transmitting configuration item data by a network object within a network. The steps include the network object detecting a change; the network object detecting an amount of traffic within the network; the network object transmitting configuration item data to the network at a level based on the amount of traffic present within the network. If all of the configuration item data was not sent and the network object detects that the amount of network traffic within the network is below a determined amount, the network object transmits remaining configuration item data to the network; and if all configuration item data was sent, returns to the step of the network object detecting a change.

Abstract: A method and/or computer program product locally manages configuration item (CI) information on CI systems. A request is received for authorized CI information that describes an authorized change to be made to a particular CI system. In response to receiving the request for the authorized CI information, a ticketing system searches a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) stub database for a location of a CI to be changed according to the authorized change to the particular CI system, where the CMDB stub database contains no CIs, and where the CMDB stub database contains a location of CI systems in which CIs are locally stored. One or more processors initiates the authorized change to the particular CI system requested by the request, and updates, by the particular CI system, the CI in the particular CI system to reflect the authorized change to the particular CI system.

Abstract: A method, system, and/or computer program product handles trouble tickets in a service unit. Friend members of a social network group to which a proxy Subject Matter Expert (SME) belongs are identified. Areas of expertise, which include expertise in a particular subject, that are held by the friend members of the social network group are identified, and then associated with the proxy SME. A trouble ticket related to the particular subject is received, and a primary SME that personally has a level of expertise to handle the trouble ticket is identified. In response to the primary SME being unavailable, the trouble ticket is transmitted to the proxy SME for handling by one or more of the friend members from the social network group to which the proxy SME belongs.

Abstract: An approach is provided for controlling a task. A change ticket is received. A task to perform the change ticket is correlated with command(s) to perform the task, user(s) who are authorized to initiate execution of the command(s), and an authorized location to initiate the execution of the command(s). A request is made by a requestor to execute one of the command(s). It is determined whether (a) the requestor is currently located at the authorized location correlated with the task and (b) the requestor is one of the user(s) correlated with the task. Based in part on (a) and (b) being true, the requested command is executed. If (a) or (b) is false, then execution of the requested command is prevented.

Abstract: Various embodiments concern an electrode of an implantable medical device for delivering electrical stimulation to tissue. Such an electrode can include a main body formed from a substrate metal comprising one of titanium, stainless steel, a cobalt-chromium alloy, or palladium. The main body may not be radiopaque. The electrode may further include a first coating on at least one side of the main body, the first coating comprising a layer of one of tantalum or iridium metal that is at least about 2 micrometers thick. The first coating can be radiopaque and porous. The porosity of the first coating can increase the electrical performance of the electrode in delivering electrical stimulation to tissue.

Specifically, a customer or the like can select a disaster recovery provider from a pool (at least one) of disaster recovery providers using a customer interface to a DR portal. Similarly, using the interface and DR portal, the customer can then submit a request for DR to be performed for a set (at least one) of applications. The customer will then also submit (via the interface and DR portal) DR information. This information can include, among other things, a set of application images, a set of application files, a set of recovery requirements, a designation of one or more specific (e.g., application) components for which DR is desired, dump file(s), database file(s), etc. Using the DR information, the DR provider will then generate and conduct a set of DR tests and provide the results to the customer via the DR portal and interface.
