  • Publication number: 20240035476
Abstract: A liquid reservoir (100) includes a body (102) defining a base (104) and a plurality of sides (106). The plurality of sides (106) and the base (104) define a volume (116) to store the liquid (101) therein. The liquid reservoir (100) also includes a pump (122) operatively mounted with the liquid reservoir (100). The liquid reservoir (100) is characterized in that the body (102) includes one or more mounting features (138), (140), (338) such that the one or more mounting features (138), (140), (338) allow removable mounting of the pump (122) towards the base (104) of the liquid reservoir (100).

  • Publication number: 20140048165
Abstract: The invention relates to a plant watering system, in particular for a drip watering system. According to the invention, said system comprises a water transport line operating according to the capillary effect principle, comprising a fibrous material arranged in a water-tight covering (HU) arranged between a water reservoir (VB) and a plant pot (TO), in particular a pot (TO) filled with a soil substrate (ES). Said fibrous material consists of a non-woven containing a mixture of microfilaments formed from of at least two different plastic materials and has a titer of preferably less than 1.0 dTex. Said fibrous material is preferably in the form of a strip (SB).

  • Publication number: 20080306346
Abstract: A method in which the cleavage profile and size distribution of von Willebrand factor (VWF) multimers is analyzed, includes: providing a sample medium of human body fluids comprising a plurality of VWF multimers of different size; enrichment or purification of the VWF multimers by cryoprecipitation or chromatography to obtain a separated preparation of the VWF multimers from said sample medium; exposing the separated preparation of VWF multimers to a light source to produce signals obtained by vibrational spectroscopy; detecting said signals; transformation by mathematical alogrithms; generation of patterns based on computing of data of original resonance spectra and determining the cleavage profile and the size distribution of said separated VWF multimers by chemometrics; and acquisition of a databank obtained from healthy individuals for identifying subjects at risk of developing at least one of the following diseases: sepsis, coagulopathy, thrombotic disease, infection, and inflammation.
