Patent number: 9434141Abstract: A method for producing an analysis tape for fluid samples, in particular body fluids, is proposed. The method comprises providing a laminate tape having a laminate carrier tape and at least one diagnostic functional layer, and cutting the laminate tape in such a way that a diagnostic auxiliary label arises; transferring the diagnostic auxiliary label to a vacuum roller; and transferring the diagnostic auxiliary label to a carrier tape. In general, at least one vacuum roller is used for the transfer of the diagnostic auxiliary label to the carrier tape. The cutting of the diagnostic functional layer is effected in such a way that a free end of the diagnostic functional layer is lifted off from the laminate carrier tape by guiding the laminate carrier tape around a cutting edge with a small radius, wherein the diagnostic functional layer is cut at a predetermined distance from the lifted off free end by means of a cutting device.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2014Date of Patent: September 6, 2016Assignee: Roche Diabetes Care, Inc.Inventors: Ralf Dagenbach, Daniel Aigl, Wolfgang Ditscher, Peter Stubenbord, Ronald Hofstadt, Andreas Krontal, Stefan Link, Klaus Lurg, Stefan Pflaesterer, Andreas Trapp, Eric Voelschow, Peter Vetter, Ulf Sprung

Patent number: 8888942Abstract: A method for producing an analysis tape for fluid samples, in particular body fluids, is proposed. In the method, diagnostic auxiliary labels are transferred to a carrier tape, wherein at least one vacuum roller is used for the transfer of the diagnostic auxiliary labels. The diagnostic auxiliary labels are detected on the vacuum roller. At least one tape position of the carrier tape is furthermore detected. The transfer of the auxiliary labels to the carrier tape is effected in accordance with the detected auxiliary labels and the tape position.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2011Date of Patent: November 18, 2014Assignee: Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc.Inventors: Ralf Dagenbach, Ronald Hofstadt, Klaus Lurg, Stefan Pflaesterer, Wolfgang Schwoebel, Thomas Renz, Ulf Sprung, Matthias Lamparter, Eric Voelschow

Patent number: 8404478Abstract: A diagnostic test tape for liquid samples is provided comprising a flexible transport tape and a plurality of test fields applied to the transport tape that are distributed in the longitudinal direction of the tape, where said test fields comprise a detection layer and a spreading net spanning the detection layer for a planar uptake of liquid sample, wherein the spreading net is formed from a lattice-like fabric comprising fabric threads that cross at right angles. In order to prevent the fabric from arching up under tape tension it is proposed that the fabric is oriented obliquely to the transport tape such that all fabric threads run obliquely to the longitudinal direction of the tape.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2011Date of Patent: March 26, 2013Assignee: Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc.Inventors: Herbert Harttig, Josef Roeper, Otto Fuerst, Thomas Jaeck, Ralf Dagenbach, Juergen Braun, Ronald Moench, Hans List, Beate Koschorreck
