  • Publication number: 20170252589
Abstract: An activated carbon absorber, in particular an activated carbon absorber for use by a user of an externally ventilated breathing mask or breathing hood. The activated carbon absorber includes a housing for accommodating a filter cartridge, and the housing has the following features: an air inlet supply port to receive compressed air from an air-supply unit; a connector for connecting to a breathing mask or hood; a unit which can be fastened to the body of or to or on the housing of the activated carbon absorber and which is capable of forming a detachable connection with another component in particular a sliding or slip connection.

  • Publication number: 20170254356
Abstract: A fastening unit, in particular a fastening unit for modules which are intended to supply a user of a breathing mask or breathing hood with breathable air, and to such modules. The fastening unit is designed to secure one module relative to another module, and has a first component part for assembly with the other module and a second component part for assembly with the module. The second component part is rotatable, by means of the first component part, about a predetermined angle relative to the first component part; and first and second subcomponents within the region of the defined angle can engage with each other in a plurality of positions.

  • Publication number: 20170028230
Abstract: A portable breathing apparatus for protecting a user against contact with the contaminated surrounding atmosphere. The breathing apparatus can be supplied with fresh breathable air via an air tube connected to an air supply system having an overpressure. The breathable air flows out of a body which is connected to the air tube and has at least one defined outflow surface for the breathable air.

  • Patent number: 9533317
Abstract: The invention relates to a paint spray gun (1) having a compressed air distribution chamber (8) into which a compressed air feed line (10), a round jet line (6) and a wide jet line (7) open, the quantity of compressed air supplied to the compressed air distribution chamber (8), the round jet line (6) and the wide jet line (7) being adjustable via a setting element arranged in the compressed air distribution chamber (8) and rotatable from outside by an actuating element (15) about an axis of rotation (D) extending through the compressed air distribution chamber (8). Said paint spray gun (1) is characterized in that the setting element is formed as a rotary distributor (14) that is held immovably in the axial direction of the axis of rotation (D) and can be rotated about the axis of rotation (D) in order to open and close openings (6?, 7?, 10?) of the round jet line (6) and/or the wide jet line (7) and/or the compressed air feed line (10).

  • Patent number: 9409197
Abstract: An air nozzle closure for a spray gun with an air cap, which has at least one axial borehole for the passage of exiting air and a first annular flange, which is radially directed outward, and an air nozzle ring surrounding the air cap, with a second annular flange radially directed inward, and an inside thread for the screwing on of the air nozzle closure with an outside thread of the spray gun. The air cap in the screwed state, with annular flanges adjacent to one another, is clamped in between the spray gun and the air nozzle ring, and a first annular groove with a locking ring, which secures the air nozzle ring in the unscrewed state against the loosening of the air cap. The locking ring has at least one elastic snap-in element projecting inward to snap into the annular groove.

  • Publication number: 20160030960
Abstract: A spray gun manufacturing method, a spray gun, a spray gun body and a cover. The method includes forming a spray gun body. In forming the spray gun body, a bearing part is formed on a side of the spray gun body, with a surface of the bearing part being lower than another surface of the side of the spray gun body, and a partial edge of the bearing part corresponding to a partial edge of the spray gun body.
