Patent number: 9352311Abstract: A dosing device comprises a housing. The housing has a slot-shaped opening in the axial direction. The respective region of a setting cylinder located inside the housing can be seen from the exterior through the opening. The setting cylinder can be radially rotated or set by way of a setting wheel. Quantitative indications of the discharge volumes for various syringe types at various settings are arranged in columns on the setting cylinder in the form of a table. The cylinder is oriented relative to the window in the housing such that at a given angular setting of the cylinder the correct discharge volume is visible in the window for every syringe type.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2013Date of Patent: May 31, 2016Assignee: Ritter GmbHInventors: Ralf Ritter, Frank Ritter

Patent number: 8820454Abstract: A motorized wheelchair includes a frame, a battery support assembly that supports a battery box and is connected to the frame, first and second power drive assemblies disposed on each lateral side of the wheelchair, first and second rear wheels driven by the power drive assemblies, and first and second castor wheels that are pivotally connected to said frame. The battery support assembly is pivotally connected to the frame by a first connecting arrangement, so that said battery support assembly can pivot around a first longitudinal axis. The battery support assembly is pivotally connected to the first connecting arrangement by a second connecting arrangement, so that the battery support assembly can pivot around a second lateral axis.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2012Date of Patent: September 2, 2014Assignee: Invacare International SARLInventors: Peter Jost, Ralf Ritter

Patent number: 5921181Abstract: A pneumatic cartridge expressing device is shown for expressing cartridges containing viscous materials. The device has a holder that is axially longer than the cartridge, and a cap that is sealingly fitted over one axial end of the holder with a piston guided within the cap and forced by compressed air against either the one axial end of the holder or against one axial end of the cartridge. Compressed air is provided through an opening in the piston to pressurize the cartridge, and in the case where the piston seals against the one axial end of the holder, also passes into an annular gap between the cartridge and the holder to prevent bulging of the cartridge during expressing of the cartridge. Compressed air is provided through a separate opening in the cap to the annular gap in the case where the piston seals against one axial end of the cartridge.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 1997Date of Patent: July 13, 1999Inventor: Ralf Ritter

Patent number: 5672320Abstract: An advancing mechanism is provided for movement of a pipet plunger in a repeating pipet. The advancing mechanism includes a rack communicating with the pipet plunger, a pawl pretensioned against the rack and displaceable by an activating element and an engagement control element located between the rack and the pawl. The advancing mechanism also includes an adjusting element for adjusting the engagement control element to one of a plurality of engagement positions. The engagement control element is preferably a rotatable sleeve having lower axial steps and upper limiting stops. The pawl is connected to a sliding body connected with the actuating element and axially displaceable within the sleeve.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 1995Date of Patent: September 30, 1997Inventor: Ralf Ritter
