  • Publication number: 20240133535
Abstract: An optical device usable as a headlight of a motor vehicle has an optical system in the form of a lens and/or a light source which is surrounded by a housing and which is covered by a translucent, in particular transparent, cover which is connected to the housing. To increase the functionality of the optical device, a PTC heating assembly is configured to heat a space between the housing and the cover. The PTC heating assembly includes at least one PTC element and strip conductors that are connected electrically to the PTC element.

  • Patent number: 8212179
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the parametric production of a drilled hole in a component, in particular for the parametric production of a drilled cooling hole in a blade of a gas or steam turbine. In the case of the method according to the invention, in a first method step (21) an actual wall thickness of the component is measured at the location at which the drilled hole is to be introduced. Subsequently, at least one parametric drilled-hole geometry value is determined on the basis of an adjustment of the measured, actual wall thickness with an assumed, ideal wall thickness (method step 23). The drilled hole is then produced according to the determined parametric drilled-hole geometry value (method step 24). Furthermore, the invention relates to a drilling device, in particular for carrying out the method, and to a component into which one or more drilled holes have been introduced according to the method.

  • Patent number: 7131814
Abstract: A cooling arrangement (17) for supplying a first cavity (9) with a cooling gas, in particular in a gas turbine of a power plant, includes a cooling-gas passage (19) which is formed in a first component (6) and connects the first cavity (9) to a second cavity (10 ). A second component (16 ) bears against a bearing side (15) remote from the second cavity (10 ) and separates the first cavity (9) from a third cavity (12). The second component (16 ) is displaceable within a range of displacement. To improve the cooling effect, an orifice region (20) of the cooling-gas passage (19) is dimensioned and/or positioned in such a way that its orifice cross section (21) projects from the range of displacement to such an extent that it is open at least with a predetermined minimum cross section in any position of the second component (16 ).
