Abstract: A bleach or bleach/fixing solution for processing photographic silver halide materials which, relative to the silver halide content of the unprocessed material, exhibit prior to the bleaching step a content of silver arising from development of at least 65 mol %, in particular for processing color reversal materials, characterized in that the solution contains at least one iron complex of propylenediaminetetraacetic acid or of &bgr;-alaninediacetic acid or a mixture of these complexes and the total concentration of the stated iron complexes in the solution is at least 0.045 and at most 0.25 mol/l and a process for processing, in which such a solution is used, is characterized by a small introduced quantity of iron complexes, a low residual silver content, a low bleaching fog value, elevated resistance to precipitation and in that the bleach solution may be rejuvenated.

Abstract: A single-part colour developing concentrate with a pH greater than or equal to 7 which contains at least 0.02 mol of a colour developer substance and at least 0.015 mol of an antioxidant per litre, characterised in that the concentrate contains 0.05 to 35 g per litre of a wetting agent soluble in water in this amount, is distinguished by very good stability in storage at low temperatures and the discharge behaviour from the concentrate bottle is considerably improved and soiling of the processing equipment is avoided. Furthermore, the optical brightener precipitation occurring in practice in the bleach fixing bath is also prevented.

Abstract: The process for bleach fixing an exposed and developed color photographic material whose silver halide emulsion layers contain silver chlorobromide emulsions having a silver bromide content of from 0.3 to 2.0 mol%, in which the bleach fixing bath (1) contains, as bleaching agent, an iron(III) complex at least 50 mol% of whose complex former corresponds to the following formula ##STR1## (2) is adjusted to a pH of x where 7.0>.times.>4.5 and (3) contains a thiosulphateis distinguished by a powerful bleaching action and great environmental compatibility.
