Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a gas to or from a pressurized cylinder is described. The apparatus includes a gas delivery device housing that houses and protects a gas control device configured to deliver gas to a user or device, and may also be adapted to provide gas to the pressurized cylinder in a refilling process. The housing includes a surface free from unnecessary depressions and/or protrusions to facilitate cleanability and enhance safety during use. Adjustment indicators and status indication elements disposed in or on portions of the housing are configured to enhance readability and recognition, which facilitates safe and efficient operation of the device. Adjustable elements to control a flow metric from the gas control device are adapted to facilitate adjustment by a user with a large hand and/or a user suffering from some diminished physical capability.
