    Abstract: A membrane port. The membrane port includes a flow port portion defining a lumen therethrough. A frangible connector portion is mounted on an enlarged portion of the flow port portion. A pierceable membrane is disposed in the lumen defined through the flow port portion to prevent fluid flow through said lumen. A cover portion is mounted on the frangible connector portion. The cover portion is constructed to fluidly seal a first end portion of the flow port portion.
