  • Patent number: 10138477
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production and non-covalent surface display of antibodies and derived fragments as well as molecule libraries based thereon on the surface of S. cerevisiae cells. The non-covalent manner of the surface display renders possible the selection of specific variants by means of high throughput screening and the subsequent switchable secretion of the selected binding molecule into the culture supernatant for biochemical characterization.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 11, 2013
Date of Patent: November 27, 2018
    Assignee: MERCK PATENT GmbH
Inventors: Ralph Guenther, Bjoern Hock, Stefan Becker, Laura Rhiel
  • Publication number: 20160059463
Abstract: The flexible tubular moulded body (10) comprises an unprofiled or profiled straight or bent shaped and a circumferential wall (11) provided with a corrugated profile (12), which is formed from a strength support insert embedded in a thermoplastic material comprising cord surfaces running in the longitudinal direction of the moulded body as pressure support elements and fixing threads running transversely to the threads and holding these in position.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 16, 2015
    Publication date: March 3, 2016

  • Patent number: 6524478
Abstract: In an apparatus for filtering and separating fluids by reverse osmosis or by micro-, ultra-, and nano filtration, including a plurality of spaced planar filter elements arranged in stacks in spaced relationship so that their surfaces can be contacted by the fluids for the collection of permeate from the fluids within the filter elements, at least one draining rod having a central draining passage extends through the stack of filter elements and has openings disposed in each filter element for collecting the permeate from the respective filter elements, and a vacuum generating means is connected to a permeate discharge which is in communication with the draining rod passages for generating a vacuum in each filter element.

  • Patent number: 6290852
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for the purification and/or treatment of communal and/or industrial wastewaters, particularly for use in marine installations, a biologically operated reaction apparatus is provided in which the wastewater to be purified and/or treated is received. In the reaction apparatus, a bio-mass of high concentration is suspended. To this reaction apparatus, the wastewater to be purified and/or treated is supplied. Subsequently, the pre-purified or, respectively, pre-treated wastewater is supplied to a membrane separation apparatus in which it is separated into a permeate and a retentate. The retentate is at least partially returned to the reaction apparatus, whereas the permeate is either discharged as useable or pure water or is returned to the reaction apparatus.
