  • Patent number: 6112657
Abstract: An attachment system for a silk screen printer includes an elongated support bar having a pair of offset holding heads with aligned openings formed therein. A pair of elongated blade elements are slidably held in aligned openings in the offset holding heads, and include open areas for releasably supporting first and second spaced-apart and angled squeegees.

  • Patent number: 6044759
Abstract: A registration system for aligning a printing screen frame with an image platform includes a plurality of arms, rotatably secured to a lower surface of the image platform. The rotatable arms have retractable registration elements mounted on the outer ends thereof, and have inner ends which are mounted so as to be translated outwardly from and towards the lower surface of the image platform upon rotation of the arms, between retracted and registration positions. In the registration position, the registration elements are aligned with and cooperate with the printing screen frame to accurately align the printing screen frame over the image platform.

  • Patent number: 5970874
Abstract: A process and system for applying or treating a graphic image on a substrate by using heat and pressure. The system is comprised of a frame having a plurality of supporting members and a reciprocally mounted heated platen extending from a first member, and a reciprocally mounted support having a pair of raised bars thereon reciprocally mounted on a second member. The heated platen and the raised bars of the support are first sequentially moved, and then simultaneously brought into contact with a supporting pallet and substrate, so as to condition, emboss, fix, form, or shape a surface of the substrate, or an image on the substrate, to thereby improve the quality thereof, or of further graphic images applied thereto.

  • Patent number: 5775221
Abstract: A printing machine has a box frame rotatably holding an attachment arm to which various size workpiece supporting means may be connected. A series of screen frames are secured over a workpiece support, secured to the attachment arm in exact registration, so that numerous colors may be sequentially printed on a material held on the workpiece support. The attachment arm and workpiece support can be pivoted in one direction to mount a non-planar workpiece to be printed thereon, and then allowed to return to a rest position to mount a series of screen frames thereon for sequentially printing different images and colors on the workpiece held on the workpiece support, below the screen.

  • Patent number: 5533445
Abstract: An automated printing machine has a plurality of printing pallets having elevated printing surfaces connected to an endless chain drive by an elongated bodies. The printing machine includes a positive indexing system for smoothly indexing items to be printed while supported on the elevated printing surfaces, first through a printing station having at least one printing head movable in a plurality of directions, and then to an integrated dryer station, after the printing station, having at least one pivotable dryer therein for selectively drying the printed items held on the elevated printing surfaces, as they pass through the drying station.
