    Abstract: A hydrogen-rich hydrocarbon fuel gas can be separated into a methane fuel stream and a hydrogen product stream. The methane fuel stream can be fed to a methane fuel fired furnace, combustion of the methane fuel stream can produce a carbon-dioxide-rich flue gas, and a carbon capture process can be performed on the carbon-dioxide-rich flue gas. The hydrogen product stream can be fed to a hydrogen fired furnace or elsewhere. Combustion of the hydrogen product stream in a hydrogen fired furnace can generate a flue gas the is low in carbon dioxide. Electrolysis of water obtained from the hydrogen fired furnace flue gas can produce hydrogen for a desired use, such as fuel for the hydrogen fired furnace, and can produce oxygen for enriching the fuel gas fed to the methane fuel fired furnace.

    Abstract: Methods for operating a high pressure olefin polymerization reactor include the steps of introducing an initiator stream containing ethylene and an initiator compound through an initiator nozzle into the reactor, introducing an olefin stream containing ethylene and an optional comonomer through an olefin nozzle into the reactor, and polymerizing ethylene and optionally the comonomer in the presence of the initiator stream in the reactor under high pressure polymerization conditions to produce an ethylene polymer. The amount of ethylene in the initiator stream is from 0.01 to 2 wt. % of the amount of ethylene in the olefin stream. An injection nozzle that can be used in conjunction with the high pressure reactor also is described.

The methods may further include providing at least a portion of the first gas stream to the first heat exchanger; and combining the bypass stream and a second gas stream at the bypass line outlet to form a combined gas stream comprising one or more olefins or paraffins. A temperature of the combined gas stream is below the dew point of the combined gas stream.

    Abstract: A remotely controlled oil drain valve assembly is provided. The assembly comprises a valve body which is threadably connected to the crankcase of an internal combustion engine. A valve core is slideably mounted within the valve body. Ports in the valve body and valve core, when in alignment, permit the flow of oil from the crankcase through a passageway in the valve core. The ports are brought in alignment by means mounted in the valve body which receive an electric signal from a remote source to cause rotation of the valve core to the proper position.
