Abstract: An example method includes receiving a message from a sending service and addressed to a destination service. The message is sent to the destination service using a synchronous message modality responsive to a communication history parameter for the destination service indicating a synchronous message type. The message is sent to the destination service using an asynchronous message modality responsive to the communication history parameter indicating an asynchronous message type. A reply is received from the destination service and the reply is sent to the sending service. The synchronous message modality comprises waiting for a reply to be received from the destination service for a predetermined time interval. The asynchronous message modality comprises storing identification data associated with the message in a correlation data store, receiving the reply from the destination service, and determining whether the reply is associated with the message based on the identification data.

Abstract: An improved watercraft hull providing stability and maneuverability in turns. The hull may include a longitudinal centerline extending from bow to stern, a first and second transverse air channel that are fluidly isolated from the rest of the hull, the first and second air channels separating the hull into a bow planing portion, a middle planing portion, and a stern planing portion, a first plurality of strakes protruding from the bow planing portion, a second plurality of strakes protruding from the middle planing portion, and a third plurality of strakes protruding from the stern portion. The hull may also include a V-shaped keel portion at the bow portion centerline, and a flattened hull portion at the stern portion centerline having a deadrise angle of 0°, the flattened hull portion being disposed between and directly adjacent to two adjacent longitudinal elements of the third plurality of longitudinal elements.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for context-based communication in HTML pages in which embodiments include communications between readers of the HTML content and the creators of the HTML content. The present invention generally relates to the creation and publishing of multiple HTML web pages that may be combined to form a global context as an HTML application. More specifically, the method provides a means to allow readers and authors to create and share content with each other and other readers within the context of a single HTML page or within the context of a grouping of HTML pages in an environment that may have intermittent or unreliable network connectivity.

Abstract: Disclosed is a privacy slat for insertion into the channels of a chain link fence that engages the knuckles of the fence wire by providing an elongated body member having a pair of longitudinal fins along the outside edges thereof in which at least one notch is provided in at least one of the fins for engagement with a knuckle of the fence. The fence slats of the present invention also utilize a pair of longitudinal fins having a unique angled configuration that substantially fills the fence channel.

Abstract: Disclosed is a chain link privacy slat that is inserted into the channels of the fence and which securely engages the knuckles of the fence wire by providing an elongated body member having a pair of longitudinal fins along the outside edges thereof in which at least one notch is provided in at least one of the fins for engagement with a knuckle of the fence. The fence slats of the present invention also utilize a pair of fins having a unique angled configuration that allows them to provide maximum privacy when identical slats are installed in parallel adjacent to one another.
