    Abstract: A used hydrocarbon cracking catalyst having coke laydown thereon is regenerated under conditions to produce a gas rich in carbon monoxide which, together with steam, is subjected to a shift reaction to produce carbon dioxide and hydrogen, and oil cracked with said catalyst produces vapors which are fractionated to yield gases, cracked gasoline, a light-cycle oil, a heavy-cycle oil and bottoms, at least one of the light and heavy cycle oils is hydrocracked with the hydrogen earlier produced.
