Abstract: The “Oil Genie” offers an alternative for the proper disposal of used cooking oil, shortening, and animal fats in a safe, convenient, disposable container. There is no longer the need to look for an empty can, risking possible burns or messes, or the pouring of these materials into the sink causing the possibility of clogged drains or polluting of fresh water supplies. The waste material can be poured directly from the hot pan, with no mess, no burning and no odors. Once filled it is thrown away with your trash.
