  • Patent number: 4896856
Abstract: An electrical equipment cluster mount for use upon a utility pole or the like is disclosed. The mount includes an elongated bearing plate adapted to be mounted to the utility pole and a hollow polygonal structural member, preferably trapezoidal-shaped, including a plurality of sides, at least one of which is attached to the elongated bearing plate. Individual brackets extend from other sides of the hollow structural member and are interlocked with at least one other adjacent bracket on the hollow structural member. The brackets may be inclined downwardly towards or upwardly away from one another to facilitate mounting of the equipment thereto on different spacings, as well as being positioned at least partially forwardly or rearwardly of the hollow structural member to mount the electrical equipment in a circumferentially disposed array or all on one side of the utility pole.
