Abstract: An adjustment bracket especially useful for adjusting the height of a floor or roof section relative to supporting floor joists or rafter is provided which serves to quickly and inexpensively correct for humps or dips in flooring base material or roof plywood caused by warpage in the material or sags in the joist. The bracket preferably is in the form of an elongated L-shaped body with a section-engaging leg integrally connected to a support-engaging leg. The section-engaging leg preferably includes a plurality of axially coincident, spaced apart, laterally centered slots and a pair of marginal, circular, laterally centered set holes. The support-engaging leg preferably includes a plurality of elongated, axially parallel, laterally centered slots whose axes form an oblique angle relative to the axis of the bracket.
