  • Publication number: 20060034044
Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable DVD player, in particular to a portable DVD player having an externally-exposed LCD display which is disposed on the top cover. A LCD display 2 is disposed on the outer surface of the top cover 1 of the DVD player, the LCD display 2 is connected with a flexible printed circuit at its one end and the other end of the flexible printed circuit is connected with the control, decoder and signal output circuits within the base 5 respectively. A driver circuit and a time-response control circuit are disposed in the top cover 1, and one end of the driver circuit and the time-response control circuit are connected with the flexible printed circuit and the other end is connected with the LCD display 2. Function control buttons 3 and a pair of speakers 4 are disposed on the outer surface of the base of the two sides of the said top cover 1.

  • Publication number: 20040203631
Abstract: A method for providing variable frequency patterns for vibration of a wireless device is provided. The method includes receiving a call at the wireless device, the call associated with a caller identifier. Frequency pattern data stored in the wireless device is searched for the caller identifier. A specified frequency pattern is retrieved from the frequency pattern data when the caller identifier is found in the frequency pattern data. The specified frequency pattern is associated with the caller identifier in the frequency pattern data. The specified frequency pattern is provided to a vibrator for the wireless device.

  • Patent number: 6048775
Abstract: A method of planarizing a non-conformal HPDCVD STI oxide isolation using an underlying first nitride layer and an overlying second nitride polish stop layer. The HPDCVD oxide is deposited so that the second nitride polish stop is formed coplanar with the first nitride layer over the center of narrow trenches. Both first and second nitride layers act as polish stops. The invention forms a first nitride layer over the substrate. Wide and narrow trenches are then etched in the substrate. In an important step, a non-conformal HDPCVD oxide layer is formed filling the trenches to a level about 500 .ANG. above the substrate surface. Then a second nitride layer is formed over the non-conformal HDPCVD oxide layer. Next, the structure is chemical-mechanical polished using both the first and nitride layers as polish stops. The second nitride layer and narrow extruded parts of the HDP-CVD oxide layer are removed in a DHF etch. Next, the first nitride layer is removed.
