Abstract: A method is provided for conducting electrolysis at or below 1.23 V. The method comprises filling an electrolysis reactor having an aluminum anode and a copper cathode with a sufficient amount of solution such that at least a portion of the anode and the cathode are immersed in the solution; the solution comprising water, an electrolyte and a catalyst; and applying a voltage across the reactor of less than or equal to 1.23 V. The solution is comprised of water, aluminum sulfate and an ammonium salt. The method allows for total gas to be produced at a rate in excess of the theoretical maximum 1.06 l/min at a current of 93 amps.

Abstract: A perforating system, including a shaped charge assembly comprising a charge case, a liner, and a main body of explosive. The material of the perforating system components, including the gun body, the charge case and the liner may be comprised of an energetic material that conflagrates upon detonation of the shaped charge. The material may be an oxidizer, tungsten, cement particles, rubber compounds, compound fibers, KEVLAR®, steel, steel alloys, zinc, and combinations thereof.

Abstract: A CRYLON.TM. gel containing glass beads and a light metal, formulated to be pliable when frozen, yet reusable and stable enough to permit repeated thawing and freezing, is contained within a vinyl package having a covering which is both hypoallergenic and waterproof. The packages are comfortably held in place, e.g. pressed against an injured portion of the body, by appropriate straps and/or fasteners, which may form a part of the package.
