Publication number: 20080206739Abstract: The invention relates to an analysis method for pesticide residues in plants. The method uses the interface device for the direct coupling of liquid chromatography and gas chromatography, called the TOTAD (Through Oven Transfer Adsorption Desorption) interface in scientific literature. The method only requires an extraction step prior to the chromatographic analysis. The pesticides are extracted from the sample with an organic solvent. Extract volumes that are much larger than those usually used are directly injected into the gas chromatograph, without needing any prior extract cleaning or concentration step. The TOTAD interface allows injecting extract volumes that are much larger than those normally injected into the gas chromatograph.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2006Publication date: August 28, 2008Inventors: Jesus Villen Altamirano, Ana Maria Vazquez Molini, Jose Manuel Cortes Simarro, Raquel Sanchez Santiago

Patent number: 7215958Abstract: The present invention relates to a relocation method, system and network element for changing a serving radio resource control entity After an initial operating state in which a user equipment (30) has radio links with a serving network element (20) and a drift network element (21) supporting said serving network element (20) with a wireless connection, the serving network element (20) transmits a relocation-specific information to a target network element (22). Based on the relocation-specific information, the target network element (22) establishes a link to the drift network element (21), such that the drift network element (21) can receive user traffic from both the serving network element (20) and the target network element (20). Then, the radio resource control is relocated to the target network element (20). The relocation-specific information may comprise an identifier or a list of identifiers of drift network elements.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2001Date of Patent: May 8, 2007Assignee: Nokia CorporationInventors: Andras Kovacs, Shavantha Kularatna, Atte Länsisalmi, Gabriel Ramos, Syed Hossain, Pekka Korja, Raquel Sanchez, Sanna Mäenpää

Publication number: 20050117529Abstract: The present invention describes a method, system and an interconnecting handler for sending connection-oriented or connectionless data between two endpoints in a protocol architecture. The transport protocol in the protocol architecture is in a preferred embodiment the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP). The present invention allows the setup and release of a connection when using a simplified protocol stack which is able to provide the same kind of services without using peer-to-peer messages like SCCP or SUA use. The present invention also enables discrimination between connection-oriented and connectionless services without peer-to-peer signalling.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 7, 2004Publication date: June 2, 2005Inventors: Gabriel Ramos-Escano, Fabio Longoni, Raquel Sanchez, Sami Kekki, Ivan Arias-Rodriguez, Seppo Vesterinen, Janne Marin, Janne Tervonen
