  • Publication number: 20020145007
Abstract: A double-barreled syringe is provided which includes a mixing tip which is detachable after the tip is locked to the syringe body, so that the tip may be replaced by a locking cap. Locking occurs when a neck extending from the body between two shoulders is inserted into a bore in the tip (or, alternatively, the cap) and the tip is rotated so that two symmetrically opposed tabs attached to the tip are each received within a recess determined by a shoulder and a locking rib attached to the shoulder, and two diametrically opposed detents extending from the neck are each received within a recess in the bore surface.

  • Patent number: 6446459
Abstract: A compact refrigerator has an insulated enclosure for the cooling and temporary storage of items, a content storage drawer that is fully exposed by pulling open the drawer from the insulated enclosure, the drawer is supported on the bottom side by at least one rolling element, and a latched handle for opening the drawer that is placed near the top of the drawer. Access to the entire content space by first pulling the ergonomically designed handle. The user then pulls open the drawer, which slidably moves away from the main housing to expose all of the content space for viewing. The content space, and the contents, move with the door, to be fully exposed when the door is in the open position. Items to be placed inside for cooling are placed into easily viewed open spaces within the contents space.

  • Patent number: 6170405
Abstract: A collapsible table which is constructed of a main section which has a substantially planer work surface. The main section is composed of two equally sized parts which are hingedly connected together which permits folding of the main section from a position with the parts in alignment to a position with the parts in juxtaposition. Hingedly connected to each edge of the main section is a leg assembly. Each leg assembly is to be movable, upon actuation of a squeezable handle, from a retracted position alongside of the main section to an extended position substantially transverse to the main section. When in the transverse position, each leg assembly is to be locatable in any one of a plurality of different positions each of which will locate the work surface at a different height from the surface on which the collapsible table is mounted.

  • Patent number: 5947278
Abstract: A thermoformed dual-compartment flexible package and method for storing and dispensing the components of a polymerizable system such as the base and catalyst portions of an addition cured dental impression material. Mutually reactive constituents are isolated during storage. A first embodiment of the package includes two thermoplastic cups each having an open mouth circumscribed by an annular groove, separated by a slotted aperture. The package further includes a thermoformed flexible closure having a central projection between two annular projections. Two seals are formed by engaging the annular projections within the grooves. A second embodiment includes two thermoplastic cups separated by a slotted aperture, with each cup having an open mouth from whose rim depends an outwardly canted wall terminating at a recessed lip.

  • Patent number: RE36260
Abstract: An electrical human skin treatment apparatus which comprises a housing within which is incorporated an electrical circuit. The housing includes a pair of terminals which are spaced apart. The user's hand must be in contact with one terminal with the other terminal to be in contact with the area of application such as the face or neck of the user. The electrical circuit includes a slow voltage current rise to minimize the possibility of electrical shock to the user. A switch is incorporated on the exterior of the housing to not only activate the apparatus, but also to select anaphoresis or cataphoresis.
