  • Publication number: 20140355122
Abstract: A volumetric diffuser utilizing polyolefins and light scattering particles to provide desired efficiency without hot-spots where surface texture is utilized to reduce the tendency of the polyolefin based volumetric diffuser to scratch.

  • Publication number: 20110281001
Abstract: A container for fresh cut produce comprises a first section and a second section separated from one another by a web, the web comprising a first three-dimensional apertured film, a second three-dimensional apertured film bonded to the first three-dimensional apertured film, and a nonwoven web bonded to the second three-dimensional apertured film. Produce is contained in the first section and the juices exuded from the produce flow into the second section, but are prevented from coming back in contact with the produce by the web, thereby increasing the shelf life of the produce.

  • Publication number: 20080246589
Abstract: The invention concerns a laminate device with a substrate of the type having a front face adapted to receive printed information, an electronic device such as RFID tag, and an adhesive layer disposed on a back face of the substrate. The laminate device can be made with a voided or microcellular structure. The laminate device also can be made with a compressible and resilient structure such that, after application to an object, the electronic device is at least partially embedded in the substrate. A coated layer, for example, an unvoided coating, can be provided on a surface of the substrate. Advantageously, under electrodischarge testing according to MIL-STD-331B, at least 85% of a group of labels remains operational.
