  • Patent number: 6663505
Abstract: A golf putter head portion (10) has a lower surface that is convexly curved about two orthogonal axes (C1, C2). A weight storing housing (14) is formed in the lower surface for receiving a selective number of weights (24) to provide a predetermined overall putter head weight and center of percussion customized for an individual. A cover (26) lockingly snaps in place over the housing opening.

  • Patent number: 5782705
Abstract: The putter (10) has a shaft (14) interconnecting the head (12) at an angle so the hands are at or ahead of the ball. The striking face (26) is convexly curved from toe to heel as well as canted downwardly and rearwardly (.alpha.). The grip (48) has an out-of-round cross-section to enhance a pushing stroke.

  • Patent number: 5226532
Abstract: A gift container and greeting card holder is formed from a cutout blank (10) with three panels (12,14,16). The first and third panels (12,16) have removable central portions (31,76) defined by lines of perforations including strips (34,80,82) which are pulled loose by the aid of pull tabs (33,84,86). Assembly is achieved by folding the first and third panels onto the central second panel (14) after the gift is entered into a containing space via open edge walls after which the panels and edge strips are sealed together.

  • Patent number: 5133496
Abstract: A combination greeting card and gift pouch is constructed from a single rectangular blank (10) having three panel zones (12, 14, 16) arranged side-by-side and separated by fold lines (18, 20). The first panel zone (12) at one end of blank (10) has a central portion partially enclosed by a set of perforations (22) which on separation enables folding out of the central portion. Third, panel zone (16) at the opposite end of the blank folds onto panel zone (14) and has side flaps (36, 38) that are secured to panel zone (14) forming a gift pouch (40) with access along fold line (18). The first panel zone (12) is folded about fold line (18) onto the gift pouch and for sealing is secured thereto by adhesive on panel edge margin (34).

  • Patent number: 4367561
Abstract: The described sport goggles have frames which fit closely about the temples and across the nose, and include enlarged viewing openings with relatively narrow members extending from the top and lower parts of the frame inwardly toward each other in the frame viewing openings. These frame members prevent a ball, racquet, hand or other items from contacting the eye or immediately adjacent parts of the head and face. In a further version where the game ball is relatively small, that part of the frame defining the viewing openings immediately adjacent the nose extends horizontally into the viewing opening, which further restricts the area of the viewing opening and yet does not interfere with the visibility of the player during participation in the sport. An adjustable nose-piece permits precise fitting of the goggles to the wearer's face.

  • Patent number: 4229837
Abstract: Goggle-like apparatus includes horizontal eye openings with vertically elongated opening wall extensions in front of the eye. In one version, the frame parts are notched with the intervening portions facing toward each other. In another version, the inwardly directed portions of the frame are formed to extend outwardly and away from the face of the wearer. In a different aspect, the goggle frames are of an undulating construction and at least one rod-like (or wire-like) element extends vertically across the central area of view of the wearer, one for each eye, the ends of which are affixed in the opposite frames.
