  • Publication number: 20060286062
Abstract: Completely natural hair shampoo or body wash made from all plant and agricultural materials containing anti-oxidants from plant materials, and mild natural surfactants from plant materials. Surfactants, oils, conditioners, preservatives, fragrance and color are all derived from plants and clays. As the surfactants are predominantly from unrefined pant materials, cleansing is mild and non-irritating, and contains a variety of anti-oxidant substances of great benefit to the scalp and skin, and no synthetic ingredients that are foreign to nature and the skin are used.

  • Patent number: 4345098
Abstract: A process for producing an isomerized benzene carboxylic acid salt by treating a mixture of an aromatic material, water, and a water soluble reagent comprising a Group Ia or IIa metal with oxygen under conditions sufficient to convert at least a portion of the aromatic material to a benzene carboxylic acid salt of the metal; isomerizing the benzene carboxylic acid salt by heating without converting the benzene carboxylic acid salt to a benzene carboxylic acid salt of a different Group Ia or IIa metal prior to isomerizing; and recovering the benzene carboxylic acid salt. Another embodiment further comprises converting the isomerized benzene carboxylic acid salt to isomerized benzene carboxylic acid; regenerating the reagent; recovering the isomerized benzene carboxylic acid; and recycling the reagent thusly regenerated to supply a portion of the reagent required for producing the benzene carboxylic acid salt.

  • Patent number: 4294977
Abstract: A process for producing a carboxylic acid salt from carbonaceous material comprising treating a mixture of a carbonaceous material which is essentially free of minerals from oil shale, water, and a material containing minerals from oil shale with oxygen under conditions sufficient to convert said carbonaceous material to a carboxylic acid salt. The carboxylic acid salt can be converted to a carboxylic acid. The process is especially useful for producing an aromatic carboxylic acid from an aromatic carbonaceous material such as coal.
