  • Patent number: 4668175
Abstract: Apparatus for forming deep containers from a thermoplastic material including a first mold portion having a cavity therein defining the side and bottom configuration of the container and a second mold portion having a plunger provided for reciprocation therein and arranged so that the plunger moves into the cavity. The first mold portion is provided with a first passageway that terminates adjacent to the cavity and in the parting surface of the mold portion and a second passageway that extends therethrough into the cavity adjacent to the bottom of the container. A control apparatus is provided that directs a vacuum through the first passageway securely holding the thermoplastic against the parting surface of the first mold portion.

  • Patent number: 4517043
Abstract: A method of fabricating a custom denture using a preformed tooth arch and a custom formed denture base, attaching these units with a self polymerizing plastic, using a plasterless keying articulator in conjuction with an occlusal translator thereby completing the entire fabrication of a custom denture on the articulator without the conventional waxup, flasking, processing which is the present state of the art.

  • Patent number: 4500289
Abstract: A denture occlusal mounting translator to transfer the patient's occlusal measurements in the exact location by the positioning of the model to set artificial teeth to the patient's interoral plane, eliminating the need of a wax occlusal rim.

  • Patent number: 4337039
Abstract: A dental articulator for mounting stone models without the need of plaster, by the use of a flexible model former with a rim around its edge and a square raised nipple, a ferromagnetic disc, magnets and a square keying device on the articulator. This method permits rapid articulation. The models may also be removed and replaced at will while maintaining the previously established centric.

  • Patent number: 4192701
Abstract: A double wall plastic article and a method and apparatus for forming a double wall article with a pair of deformable thermoplastic sheets wherein the sheets are mounted, in face to face contiguous relation, on a single pair of laterally spaced longitudinally extending rails. The rail supported, contiguously disposed sheets are heated to forming temperature and are then subjected to differential forming pressures via a pair of opposed molds which seal to the sheets to fuze perimetrically extending, opposed portions of the sheets and form the border of the article being formed. Differential pressure is then applied to a central portion of at least one of the sheets within the formed border to withdraw the central portion and form the article.
