    Abstract: The present invention discloses a cylinder and a control component and relates to the field of locks, comprising two mirror-symmetric cylinder mechanisms which jointly drive a latchbolt control ring. The present invention enables equal operations on both sides of a door, and that the separate operation on both sides of the door does not interfere with each other. Furthermore, only one cylinder is required, which simplifies the structure and a single motor realizes a not-interfered alternating output on both sides of the door.
