  • Publication number: 20180051887
Abstract: A safety apparatus for prevention of inadvertent discharge of flammable gas by a gas stove having an array of knobs constructed to allow discharge of flammable gas to respective burners subsequent to depression of one or more knobs which includes a safety apparatus having a first planar member having an edge. The safety apparatus includes a plurality of recesses extending from the edge. Each of the recesses is dimensioned for passage proximate to respective shafts carrying respective knobs on the associated stove.

  • Publication number: 20160016325
Abstract: An apparatus for providing a self-aligning cutter configured to score or cut a material is provided. The apparatus includes a chuck, a first magnet, and an outer housing. The first magnet is coupled with the chuck. The outer housing includes a second magnet. The outer housing is configured to couple with the chuck in a manner that at least a portion of the chuck and the outer housing are rotatable relative to one another. The first magnet and the second magnet are positioned relative to one another such that magnetic force there between biases the outer housing and the portion of the chuck to rest in a normal position.

  • Publication number: 20100208017
Abstract: An imaging module includes an ink jet print head for printing human-readable or coded (e.g., bar code) information directly onto various porous and non-porous materials (e.g., a corrugated cardboard container), and a pair of reservoirs that hold the melted ink ultimately used in the printing process. The module also includes an ink feed hopper into which one or more solid sticks of hot melt wax ink are fed and an associated heater to melt the ink sticks in limited volume, together with associated vents, control pumps and valves, all integrated together within the imaging module to deliver the melted ink to the print head for printing on a container or other items.

  • Patent number: 7007394
Abstract: A two-position, quick-change hacksaw consists of a back member, handle structure adjacent a rearward end portion of the back member, and a swing arm adjacent the forward end. The free end of the swing arm and the forward end portion of the back member have coplanar blade-engaging elements thereon which serve to engage the forward end of the blade and which are commonly disposed on an arc that circumscribes a third coplanar blade-engaging element disposed on a coupling block of a tensioning mechanism for mounting the rearward end of the blade. Two coplanar sets of transversely paired engagement elements enable mounting of the blade both in a plane parallel to a medial plane of the frame and also in a plane disposed at a substantial angle thereto. In one configuration, with the swing arm in its inoperative position, the saw is adapted for cutting within a relatively confined space; with the swing arm in its operative position the saw is configured for cutting within a relatively unconfined space.

  • Patent number: 5213656
Abstract: A laminated web is used for etching characters, symbols or other shapes initially scribed in a layer of stencil sheet material including one of the layers of the web and the scribed stencil sheet is subsequently separated from the remaining web and used in an electrochemical etching process. The web is adapted to be used in an automatic sign maker wherein it is scribed on automatically as a result of instructions issued from a controller and the scribed markings are then used as a negative image in the etching process of an article surface.

  • Patent number: 5189951
Abstract: A sheet material support system includes a floating box having upwardly extending leading edges defining a plane extending parallel to said base in which sheet material is caused to conform to by applying downward pressure to it and causing the sheet material to become tautly drawn over the box upper edges. The system includes a locating block and clamps which allow frames to be located uniformly along X and Y coordinate axes so that successive frames can be loaded in uniform registration in the system.
