  • Patent number: 4945451
Abstract: The invention discloses a printed circuit card on which is welded at least an electronic component box as well as a thermal dissipator for dissipating the heat emitted by the component box. The component box and the thermal dissipator are respectively provided with clips and lugs which are engaged and welded in respective holes drilled in the card. A thermal drainage metallic area provided on a zone of the card located under the box forms a thermal adduction path between the box and the lugs of the thermal dissipator. This thermal drainage metallic area is further connected to a clip ensuring a privileged thermal drainage of the electronic component box.

  • Patent number: 4820206
Abstract: A screw connection device for electric conductors, is provided having at least one screw-clamping piece assembly. A structure integral with the insulating body of the terminal, partially surrounds the screw head and has at least one heel. This heel is applicable against an inclined face of the clamp and is adapted so as to hold the screw-clamp assembly in position against removal along the axis of the screw and against tipping towards the conductor insertion side.

  • Patent number: 4387068
Abstract: Method for the manufacture of flexible disks from engraved moulds by means of a compression press comprising starting with a roll of plastic material and bringing a strip of material between the open plates of a compression press without making a preliminary hole in said strip. A preliminary hole is made during the closing of the plates by means of a first punch matched to a complementary punch, said punches serving as centering means for the two moulds, then by the guidance of the first punch in the complimentary punch for the centering of the moulds with respect to one another. The central hole is cut when the plates are closed by means of the complementary punch which is maintained in the raised position throughout the end of the pressing cycle.

  • Patent number: 4379507
Abstract: A cassette for storing and handling optical disks without touching them, including in particular video disks recorded on both sides, the cassette comprising a plate contained in a plastic envelope. The plate comprises a first cavity in which the disk to be protected is positioned. An additional annular cavity is provided in the bottom surface of the plate. The cover of the envelope comprises a cavity of shape matching that of the additional annular cavity such that the recorded areas of both sides of the disk are protected. Additional conical surfaces bearing one on the other are provided in the cover and plate around the edge of the first cavity. Means for locking the plate in the envelope are also provided.

  • Patent number: 4238179
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for pressing flexible discs by compression under heat, comprising heating plates, each carrying a plate of flexible closed-cell foam similar in diameter to the engraved matrices. The flexible disc to be pressed is placed between an engraved matrix and a counter plate or a second engraved matrix, the assembly being placed between the plates of closed-cell foam in such a way that, during compression, these cellular foam plates act as a pneumatic compensator and enable the pressure to be uniformly distributed over the surface to be engraved.
