Abstract: Electrical energy storage cells, for example, electrochemical double layer capacitor cells, are assembled into a module within an enclosure. The enclosure is built using modular construction so that it can be fitted to a variable number of cells. In exemplary embodiments, the enclosure may be expanded or reduced in size in one, two, or all three dimensions by inserting or removing additional panels. The panels may be interconnected using tongue and groove connectors.

Abstract: A solid imaging apparatus and method employing build material transfer means effective to transfer solidifiable liquid build material from a first side of a radiation transparent build material carrier to a receiving substrate without entrapping air bubbles in layers of transferred solidifiable liquid build material and to cleanly separate the solidified build material from the radiation transparent build material carrier as each layer is formed during the layerwise building of a three-dimensional object. An expandable membrane forming an arcuate dome and a reciprocatible flexible film are employed to effect transfer of the solidifiable liquid build material.

Abstract: A by-product waste material removal system for solid deposition modeling. As excess build and support material is removed during the build as a by-product waste the removal system accumulates, measures, and releases the by-product waste material into a waste receptacle for disposal. The by-product waste material removal system requires no mechanical vacuum systems and allows operator intervention to remove and replace waste receptacles without interrupting an ongoing build.
