Patent number: 11960334Abstract: Cable assemblies for providing electrical communication between hinged sections of an electronic device are described. The cable assemblies can include a cover that covers one or more cables that run through a hinge region of the electronic device. The cable and cover can be drawn over a mandrel of the hinge region. The cover and the portions of the mandrel can be visible to a user at the hinge region of the electronic device. The cover can be sufficiently rigid to guide a path of the cable and protect the cable from bending beyond a prescribed angle during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region. The cover can also be sufficiently rigid to prevent ceasing or folding of the cover and the cable during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Mikael M. Publication number: 20230417237Abstract: A lubricant pump system includes a pump assembly which has a housing with an interior pumping chamber having an inlet. At least one pumping unit is disposed at least partially within the pumping chamber and is configured to displace lubricant from the pumping chamber through an outlet. The housing has a pump interface with an opening fluidly coupleable with the pumping chamber inlet and a pump valve controlling lubricant flow through the pump interface opening. A reservoir includes a body connectable with the pump housing and having a central axis, an interior storage chamber for containing a quantity of lubricant and a reservoir interface engageable with the pump interface. The reservoir interface includes an opening fluidly coupleable with the storage chamber and fluidly coupleable with the pump interface opening. The reservoir body includes a reservoir valve controlling lubricant flow through the reservoir interface opening.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2022Publication date: December 28, 2023Inventors: William Joseph PISONI, Carl Patric Daniel NORIN JANSSON, Régis André Yves PAGE, Lauri Paavo Hermanni MAUKONEN

Patent number: 10988221Abstract: Disclosed is a control device for power kites. It consists of a tall Y-shaped structure, the base of which is connected to the center of a horizontal control bar arranged perpendicular to the structure. An articulation forms the connection between the base of the structure and the center of the horizontal control bar. The control lines for the leading edge and the control lines for the trailing edge of a power kite are attached to the front and rear pre-lines of the device. Compared to a standard kite bar, the disclosed control device makes it easier for the user to balance using very short lines.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2017Date of Patent: April 27, 2021Inventor: Régis André Paul Letort

Patent number: 8848853Abstract: A storage rack for nuclear fuel assemblies, comprising a rigid structure defining a plurality of adjacent cells, and comprising in each cell a sleeve defining a cavity intended to receive a nuclear fuel assembly, the sleeve having, in cross-sectional orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, a generally polygonal shape whereof the sides are produced using plates made from a neutron-absorbing material. According to the invention, the sleeve also includes: profiles each forming a corner piece, arranged on at least several angles of the generally polygonal cross-section, these profiles serving as a mounting bracket for the plates made of a neutron-absorbing material; and a structure for maintaining the profiles therebetween.Type: GrantFiled: July 3, 2009Date of Patent: September 30, 2014Assignee: TN InternationalInventors: Guillaume Foussard, Régis Andre

Publication number: 20140026937Abstract: The invention relates to a heterostructure including a first region (R1) made of a first n-doped semiconductor material, a second region (R2) made of a second p-doped semiconductor material and, between said first and second regions, a type-II superlattice (SR) made up of an alternation of layers (C1, C2) of a third and fourth semiconductor material, said layers being thin enough for the carriers to be displaced inside said superlattice, forming at least one electron mini-band (MBe) and one hole mini-band (MBh), the interfaces between the first region and the superlattice, between the layers of the superlattice and between the superlattice and the second region being mutually parallel. The invention also relates to a photovoltaic cell including such a heterostructure as an active element. The invention further relates to a solar panel including a combination of such photovoltaic cells.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 6, 2012Publication date: January 30, 2014Applicants: Commissariat A L'Energie Atomique Et Aux Energies Alternatives, CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUEInventors: Régis Andre, Joël Bleuse, Henri Mariette
