  • Patent number: 6388606
Abstract: In the inventive aircraft based or spacecraft based radar system with synthetic antenna aperture (SAR=Synthetic Aperture Radar) a transmit antenna and a receive antenna are provided according to a bistatic radar, which are arranged above the earth's surface, physically separate and on different platforms of which at least one is moving, so that a relative movement results between the transmit antenna and the receive antenna. Either the transmit antenna, the receive antenna, or both antennas are designed for ambiguity suppression. The radar system according to the invention is useful particularly for the systematic imaging of the earth's surface.

  • Patent number: 6302006
Abstract: A controlled spindle drive is utilized for producing an axially acting clamping force for the purpose of clamping/releasing tools or workpieces on the work spindle of machine tools. A two-part spindle shaft is enclosed coaxially by a ring which can be displaced axially between two end positions. In one end position, the ring connects the two spindle-shaft parts to form a spindle shaft, which acts as a whole, for a normal operation as a machine spindle. In the other end position, the spindle-shaft part with the tool or workpiece mounting, is connected in a fixed manner to the non-rotating spindle housing. The non-secured spindle-shaft part then acts exclusively on the task-specific clamping/release mechanism. The controlled spindle drive, which acts on the non-secured spindle-shaft part, can actuate the clamping mechanism exclusively.

  • Patent number: 4568823
Abstract: Digital ballistic computer for the fire guidance system of a tubular weapon which calculates, based on given firing data from firing tables, the ballistic data of the projectile path, composed of a digital memory unit storing data constituting discrete firing table values for each type of ammunition intended for use in the tubular weapon, the stored data corresponding directly to data contained in firing tables, and an approximation computer connected to access the memory unit, and to receive inputted firing data and operative for determining ballistic data, from the stored data and the inputted data, by approximation operations.

  • Patent number: 4210402
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a continuously-operating apparatus for dividing and kneading portions of dough in which portions of dough are directed to measuring chambers on a drum and the drum is rotatably mounted and includes a plurality of measuring chambers in circumferentially-spaced relationship about the drum, at least two of the measuring chambers including kneading devices so that the drum, when rotated in a step-by-step movement about its axis of rotation, is measured, and kneaded, and subsequently discharged from the apparatus for producing a food product.

  • Patent number: 4013275
Abstract: The present invention concerns a continuously-operating apparatus for dividing and kneading pieces of dough, comprising a dough-filled container, from which measuring chambers are filled with dough, said measuring chambers being located in a drum which is rotatably mounted in a frame with at least three of the measuring chambers being positioned with their axes in at least one cross-sectional area of the drum; a kneading device which is in angular displacement in the filling-position; a further angularly displaced device which enables the exiting of the kneaded dough; and measuring flasks which are movably arranged in the measuring chambers and are controllable by means of a cam mechanism.
