  • Patent number: 8608148
Abstract: A tool holder (2) defines three stop surfaces (18, 20, 22), which lie in three planes (60, 62, 64), which are perpendicular to each other. A pin (24), which can be lowered into the base body (8) of the tool holder (2) and extended from it, is to be introduced into a receptacle (42) of the tool (4) and comprises a slanted active contact surface (26), which defines a fourth plane (66), which intersects each of the three planes (60, 62, 64) of the tool holder (2) at an acute angle, as a result of which the active pressure surface (26), upon the extension of the pin (24), exerts a force component toward each of the three stop surfaces (18, 20, 22). A corresponding tool (4) and a workstation with the tool holder (2) and the tool (4) attached thereto are also described.

  • Publication number: 20110078981
Abstract: The device for the production of a packaging for pharmaceutical products includes a forming station for forming troughs in a nonstretchable cover sheet in a stepwise, individual, successive manner, and further includes a transport device for laying the formed cover sheet onto a bottom sheet. This bottom sheet has pockets, which serve to hold the pharmaceutical products, and webs arranged between the pockets, and at least portions of some of the webs have ridges corresponding to the shape of the troughs in the cover sheet. The device further includes a sealing station for sealing the cover sheet to the bottom sheet. This sealing station has two sealing plates shaped in correspondence with the troughs in the cover sheet, thus resulting in the sealing of the cover sheet to the bottom sheet also in the area of the ridges of the bottom sheet.

  • Publication number: 20040162207
Abstract: A box-erecting apparatus has a supply holding a stack of flattened blanks, an erecting station spaced in a transport direction from the supply and provided with a plunger and elements for erecting a flattened blank into an upwardly open box, and a support between the supply and the station positioned to receive a flattened blank. An inner arm between the supply and the station has an inner end pivoted about an inner axis transverse to the direction and an outer end, and an outer arm has an inner end pivoted on the inner-arm outer end about an outer axis generally parallel to the inner axis and an outer end carrying a grab. A drive can pivot the arms independently of each other about the respective axes between a position with the grab engaging one of the blanks in the support and a position depositing one of the blanks on the support.

  • Patent number: 6474635
Abstract: An unloading and erecting apparatus has a frame fixed to a magazine holding a stack of flattened cartons, an outer horizontal guide on the frame, an outer horizontal slide horizontally displaceable on the outer horizontal guide and carrying a nonstraight outer vertical guide. A drive motor connected to the outer horizontal slide horizontally displaces same. A vertical guide on the frame carries a vertical slide and another drive motor connected to the vertical slide vertically displaces same. A shaft pivotal about a generally horizontal axis transverse to the forward direction on the vertical slide is fixed horizontally relative to the outer horizontal slide.

  • Patent number: 5454206
Abstract: An apparatus for the insertion of products of various sizes from a product conveyor into containers on a container conveyor has an insertion chain of carriages whose rams are controlled by endless cams along the carriage travel path. The hold-down tongues on hold-down rods are mounted on slides which are guided on posts of the carriages and controlled by a slide cam and a rod cam on a cam carrier which is split for size adjustment upon movement of a moveable carrier to vary the positions of these cams at the insertion region of the chains when products of different sizes are to be inserted in the boxes.

  • Patent number: 5067937
Abstract: A system for erecting boxes has a magazine holding supply of flattened boxes having panels separated at respective fold lines, a support wheel generally continuously rotating about an axis adjacent the supply, a grab on the support wheel, an unfolder on the wheel adjacent the grab, and a conveyor adjacent the wheel. The grab and the unfolder are pivotal on the wheel about a grab axis parallel to the wheel axis and defining thereabout an orbit and the conveyor has upper and lower elements defining parallel and vertically spaced upper and lower conveyor planes, and front and rear elements displaceable parallel to the planes therebetween and defining respective conveyor calls. The upper plane is generally tangent to the orbit of the grab axis.
