  • Patent number: 10349354
Abstract: An apparatus of a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) device is provided for decreasing awake time of a host by receiving and processing peripheral data along a sideband channel and waking the host upon an event of interest, the apparatus comprising circuitry configured to receive BLE GATT data from a BLE core along a sideband channel, process the BLE GATT data, monitor processed BLE GATT data for an event of interest, and send a notification of a detection of the event of interest to the host.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 10123154
Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to a method, system and apparatus to utilized a network of wireless transmission units (PTUs) to communicate between devices connected to the network through each of the PUTs. In certain embodiments, a plurality of PTUs are interconnected into a Local Area Network (LAN) such that messages may be broadcast to all PTUs connected to the network. Each PTU may then relay the broadcast message to each of the mobile devices being under its charge.

  • Publication number: 20160285299
Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to method, apparatus and a system to leverage wireless docking station discovery to provide fast and efficient wireless connection. In an exemplary embodiment, a wireless device detects a power beacon from a wireless charging station. The power beacon detection is used as a leverage to initiate a BLE signal from the mobile station to the wireless charging station. The wireless charging station maybe associated with a wireless docking station. The mobile device's identification information can be used to determine whether the mobile device is paired with the docking station. If the mobile device is paired with the docking station, then wireless communication between the mobile device and the charging station may commence.
