  • Patent number: 10281135
Abstract: A mountable cloud speaker lamp system produces both audio and visual output for the purpose of enjoyment and relaxation. The cloud speaker lamp system includes a cloud shaped enclosure with a cloud shaped front shell and a flat back shell; an electro acoustic transducer for sound generation mounted on the enclosure back shell; a light source mounted on the enclosure back shell for projecting light onto the cloud shaped enclosure front shell; an input interface mounted on the enclosure back shell containing an audio input and command receiver for receiving sound and light commands from an external source, an audio amplifier to amplify the input audio and generate bands of sound corresponding to light intensity, and an illumination driver to drive the light source; and a power source. The system is configured so that a single enclosure design encompasses the cloud appearance, and provides a sound and light radiating surface.

  • Patent number: 9111516
Abstract: An electronic interactive instrument that is played by the feet of a person who walks upon the instrument. The instrument has a flexible cover plate upon which a person can walk. The cover plate contains an image of a keyboard with both imaged white keys and imaged black keys. A plurality of support beams are provided under the cover plate. At least one of the support beams is disposed under each of the imaged white keys and the imaged black keys. A plurality of pressure sensors are affixed to the support beams. The pressure sensors can detect when the cover plate is flexed by the weight of person. As such, the pressure sensors can detect where a person is standing on the cover plate.

  • Patent number: 4847739
Abstract: A decorative light with rotating reflecting disc is disclosed which includes a mounting base and a translucent dome secured upon the base. A plurality of sockets with lamps are mounted in the base beneath the dome and each socket can contain a lamp of different color. A motor is concentrically secured in the base to rotate a circular reflector below the lamps to reflect light rays from the lamps upwardly against the undersurface of the translucent dome. The surface of the circular reflector is covered with a crinkled or otherwise bent "Milar" sheet to form a great multitude of small, angularly offset reflecting surfaces so that a unique, colored, reflected, light pattern is projected upon the underside of the dome by the rotating reflector.

  • Patent number: 4225808
Abstract: Different portions of an area are selectively highlighted in response to observer proximity. An adjustable dimmer establishes the non-highlight illumination level for each area. The dimmer is overridden by observer-sensing circuitry to produce the highlight illumination level.

  • Patent number: 4158173
Abstract: A transistor radio includes a mercury switch mounted in a fixed position within an outer housing and connected to the power circuitry of the radio. The housing has a plurality of flat surfaces to permit it to be maintained in a number of different stable positions on a supporting surface, and the mercury switch is moved between circuit activating positions, to turn the radio "on", and circuit deactivating positions, to turn the radio "off", by merely changing the position of the housing on the supporting surface. Most preferably the radio includes extension arms, or knobs, connected to the circuitry, and extending through a front wall of the housing to provide for the usual tuning and audio control. These extension arms can also be employed to facilitate different positioning of the radio as may suit the mood of the user, or as is dictated by the surrounding environment.
