  • Publication number: 20230173204
Abstract: A compressor (1), or ventilator/anesthesia device with the compressor, includes a housing, a rotatable impeller (6) connected via a drive shaft (4) to an electric motor (5) to deliver gas from an inlet (8), upstream on a suction side (7) through a flow duct (11) to a downstream outlet (10) on a delivery side (9). The compressor impeller is partially enclosed by the housing, as a collection housing (2) on the delivery side, and a cover element (12), on the suction side separated in sections from the compressor impeller by a gap (13). An uncoupling element (15) is arranged, for vibration damping and for at least partial sealing of the housing interior against a surrounding area (16), between the cover element and the collection housing and between a functional component (14) connected at least indirectly to the compressor impeller and/or to the electric motor and the collection housing.

  • Patent number: 8453647
Abstract: A device for passive pressure relief and for reducing the volume flow for an electromechanically driven medical gas delivery means (50) in a medical device for respirating a patient (60) with a pressure relief unit (1) with a first and second gas port (2, 3), with a relief valve (4), with a pressure relief outlet (8) with an equalization space (9) and with a nonreturn valve (11) and a valve disk (5), which is arranged in the relief valve (4) and is maintained in a position relative to a valve seat (7) via a bellows (60). The surfaces (51, 52) facing the first and second gas ports (2, 3) have different areas, so that the relief valve (4) opens as soon as an operating pressure (23) at the first gas port (2) exceeds a prevailing (stored) pressure level (24) in the equalization space (9).

  • Patent number: 6942612
Abstract: A hood with a double wall portion or wall adapter for a thermotherapy device. The wall adapter works with the hood in such thermotherapy devices to lower that part of the body heat of the premature or newborn infant lost due to radiation to the cooler hood. The construction avoids inter alia problems relating to water of condensation being formed, which may drop off. The double wall portion or wall adapter is arranged on the outside of a hood portion of the hood (1). The wall adapter (2) is fastened to the hood part (1) from the outside in a simple manner. A connection structure (5) provides for connection or locking of the wall adapter (2) at the hood (1). A seal (3) extends around the wall element of the wall adapter (2) to enclose an intermediate space between the wall adapter and (2) and the hood (1).
