    Abstract: A security apparatus for patio-type sliding doors, including a security bar with a roller that rides on the door panel frame. A stop positions the bar in the secure position, and the bar can be positioned in the inoperative position from outside the door, when first opened from the inside and when desired. Also, the bar can be positioned in automatic secure position after the door is opened only part way.
