Abstract: A multidirectional antiseismic device dissipates mechanical energy and limits loads; it can be used to connect structural sub-systems or insulate at the base entire structures, especially in cases involving significant relative displacements between connected structural sub-systems. The multidirectional dissipating device is essentially constituted by pluralities of metallic elements, especially shaped and arranged in specific configurations. Two of these are "radial" configurations whereas a third type is "annular". In each case, the configurations extend between an abutment and anchoring top construction and an abutment and anchoring bottom construction.
