Abstract: Current switch with moving contacts cooperating with fixed contacts comprising, for each electric phase, a crank, pivoting about a pin, and a link rod, operationally connected to the crank and to the mechanism for opening and closing the switch, there being provision for the contact-carrying levers to be fulcrumed in the lower part to a pin integral with the crank, for, above the pin, the levers to have, on the opposite side to the contacts, seats against which spring means bear, for the opposite ends of the spring means to bear against seats formed at the top on the side of the support of the crank, opposite the fixed contacts.

Abstract: The switch (1) includes a box-shaped housing body which can be installed in a switch cabinet. A switching lever (5) and an additional device (4) are arranged on the front of the housing body, which lever and device can be passed outwards through a door of the switch cabinet.On the front, the housing body has a flat bearing surface (6) of defined size from which the switching lever (5) projects. The additional device (4) has a flat rear which corresponds with the bearing surface (6) and with an opening (3) in the switch cabinet door. Fastening means are furthermore provided, with whose aid the additional device (4, 19, 22, 25, 27, 30) or a further additional device (19, 22, 25, 27, 30), which can be replaced thereby, can be fixed on the bearing surface (6).

An additional device with an electrical auxiliary circuit is attached to the housing body (20) and is supplied with electrical power by wiring which is passed from the stationary part (10) to the housing body (20). The wiring includes mutually interacting plug connections (105, 107; 106, 108) which are positioned in the side walls (11) of the stationary part (10) and the side walls (A) of the housing body (20).

Furthermore, the switch (1) contains a disconnecting device for achieving the disconnected position or the connected position, and a switching lever (4) guided to the outside through a first opening (6) provided in the door (7). Provided in the door (7) of the switch cabinet housing is a second opening (11) which serves to guide through a tool (8) which facilitates the operation of the disconnecting device with the door (7) closed.This switch cabinet fulfills particularly strict safety requirements.
