    Abstract: A drive means for a pump or the like comprises a pair of spaced axles having sprocket wheels thereon interconnected by an endless chain. The end of a piston rod or plunger of a pump is connected to the chain via a plate. Rotation of one of the sprocket wheels drives the chain which in turn causes the rod or plunger to reciprocate with a stroke equal to the distance between the spaced axles.
