  • Patent number: 8923649
Abstract: A method is provided in one example and includes displaying a calibration area surrounded by a background on a display; analyzing an image of the calibration area to determine if the background is detectable in the image; adjusting the calibration area until at least a portion of the background is not detectable; and storing the adjustment for the calibration area. In more particular examples, the method may include determining a percentage of the background that is detectable; and adjusting the calibration area based on the percentage. In yet other instances, the method may include decreasing a size of the calibration area if the size of the calibration area is bigger than the display.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 6, 2011
Date of Patent: December 30, 2014
    Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.
