  • Patent number: 8731286
Abstract: A video detection system and method compares a queried video segment to one or more stored video samples. Each of the queried video segments and stored video samples can be represented by respective digital image sets. A first and second comparison comprises comparing a set of low and high resolution temporal and spatial statistical moments in a COLOR9 space, and eliminating file digital image sets that do not match the queried digital image set. A third comparison generates a set of matching files by comparing a set of wavelet transform coefficients in a COLOR9 space. RGB bit-wise registration and comparison of one or more subframes of specific frames in the queried digital image set to a corresponding set of matching file subframes determines queried subframe changes. In the event of a change in a queried subframe, the changed subframe is added to the set of matching file subframes.

  • Publication number: 20120110043
Abstract: In some embodiments, the technology includes systems and methods for media asset management. In other embodiments, a method for media asset management includes receiving media data. The method for media asset management further includes generating a descriptor based on the media data and comparing the descriptor with one or more stored descriptors. The one or more stored descriptors are associated with other media data that has related metadata. The method for media asset management further includes associating at least part of the metadata with the media data based on the comparison of the descriptor and the one or more stored descriptors.

  • Publication number: 20110314051
Abstract: In some examples, the technology identifies a media and provide a consumer with an option to click on a link associated with the media with a remote control to direct the video stream directly to a website sponsored by the commercial entity associated with the media. In other examples, the technology identifies a media displayed on a subscriber's first computing device and displays the same media and/or a related media on the subscriber's second computing device.

  • Publication number: 20110313856
Abstract: In some examples, the technology identifies media and provides a user with supplemental information (e.g., supplemental media, a selectable link, etc.) based on the identity of the media. In other examples, the technology identifies media and provides a consumer with an option to click on a link associated with the media with a remote control to direct the video stream directly to a website sponsored by the commercial entity associated with the media. In other examples, the technology identifies media displayed on a subscriber's first computing device and displays the same media and/or a related media on the subscriber's second computing device.

  • Publication number: 20110222787
Abstract: In some embodiments, the technology compares multimedia content to other multimedia content via a content analysis server. In other embodiments, the technology includes a system and/or a method of comparing video sequences. The comparison includes receiving a first list of descriptors pertaining to a plurality of first video frames and a second list of descriptors pertaining to a plurality of second video frames; designating first segments of the plurality of first video frames that are similar and second segments of the plurality of second video frames that are similar; comparing the first segments and the second segments; and analyzing the pairs of first and second segments to compare the first and second segments to a threshold value.
