  • Patent number: 7600621
Abstract: The device for capturing electrical energy having a capturing plough-type element (10), an arm for holding the capturing plough-type element on the frame of the vehicle, a mechanism for lifting up the plough-type element and the way for electrical connection to the supply circuit of a vehicle. The plough-type element is electrically insulated in relation to the ground and the trackway. One part of the plough-type element separates two profiled part holders (23, 24) which are arranged beside each other in another opposite manner and are supported a support. The conducting elements of the lower end of the plough-type element are maintained in electrical contact, sliding along polar parts born by each part holder. Along the entire length of each part holder (23, 24), each part holder is mounted in an elastically recoiling manner such that it moves towards its adjacent opposite number with the aid of an elastic mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7562629
Abstract: A track section (1) having a framework (2) with two hollow profiled structure boxes (3) open at the top, with substantially rectangular or trapezoid cross-section, maintained parallel and connected by cross members (16) which support a rail (17) for guiding the vehicle. The profiled structure boxes are closed by linear plates acting as running track (8) for the wheels of the vehicle. The inner space (7) provides passage for electrical cables powering the vehicle and/or signaling. The factory prefabricated track sections are ready to be laid on an existing road surface or in a trench with simply compacted base.

  • Patent number: 7562893
Abstract: The invention relates to an improved hitch coupling assembly which dampens the hunting movements of a road trailer being towed by a motor vehicle and which is intended for a vehicle combination comprising a motor vehicle and a trailer. More specifically, the inventive hitch coupling assembly (4) comprises: (i) a first pivot coupling (12) for the hunting movements, consisting of a pivoting device which dampens the hunting movements (40) of the trailer and which is housed in a closed space such that it is sheltered from the ingress of pollutant materials; and (ii) a second coupling (21) for the rolling and pitching movements, which is used for the play-free transmission of the hunting movements to the first coupling, the axis of the hunting movements being thus decoupled from the rolling and pitching movements.

  • Patent number: 4886694
Abstract: An edge contour for a load-carrying deck includes a substantially vertically disposed side face and a substantially horizontally disposed undersurface, and a substantially inclined support surface interconnecting the side vertical side face and the horizontal undersurface. A serial array of holes or apertures (3) are disposed in a row along the inclined support surface for accommodating hook members (17,18) of cargo lashing straps (16). By providing the inclined support surface, and the apertures or holes (3) within such surface, the inclined support surface and the apertures or holes (3) thereof are, in effect, disposed at a recessed position with respect to the vertical side surface of the load-carrying deck which defines the lateral width or extent of the load-carrying deck.

  • Patent number: 4791852
Abstract: The mobile unit makes it possible to fire a plurality of shots rapidly, and to leave the firing location immediately afterwards. The unit includes a carrier vehicle (1), a mortar (2) mounted via an articulation unit (4) on a base plate (6). Means are provided for rapidly setting the base plate on the ground so as to rest thereon during shooting. The aforesaid means may pull up the aforesaid plate so that the vehicle may move away rapidly from the shooting location. The primary object of these means is to provide the carrier vehicle with a retractable suspension which makes it possible to lower the vehicle to the ground. An elastic connection (8) is provided between the base plate (6) and the frame (7) of the carrier vehicle to provide for relative movement between the assembly made up of the mortar and the base plate on the one hand, and the frame, on the other hand. The aforesaid invention is of interest to military vehicle manufacturers.
