  • Patent number: 10794418
Abstract: A Bowden cable end piece that facilitates the connection of a Bowden cable to an operating mechanism is disclosed. The end piece includes an elongated frame having a receptacle configured to receive a sheath of a Bowden cable and guide a core of a Bowden cable. The frame has a barrel guide configured to receive a barrel formed on an end of the core. An attachment member on a first end of the frame provides a holding connection with the operating mechanism in an insertion position and an end position. A mounting spring on a second end of the frame has an abutment region configured to abut a mounting surface on a support structure when the Bowden cable end piece is installed in the end position. The Bowden cable end piece can be, in the installed state, pressably attached by the mounting spring in the end position.

  • Patent number: 10584519
Abstract: A motor vehicle lock module is provided for actuating a vehicle component which includes a locking element and a Bowden cable with a Bowden cable grommet and a core which is guided movably in the Bowden cable sleeve for the transmission of an adjusting force. The core is connected to the adjusting element at a first end. The Bowden cable sleeve can be received at least at a first end in an end piece. Furthermore, a one-piece seal is provided, which encloses the first end of the Bowden cable sleeve in a first region and extends in a second region via a region of the core emerging from the Bowden cable sleeve and sealing on the core is applied. The seal is designed to be pressed into the Bowden cable grommet in an end-piece-received condition in the first region from an end piece.

  • Publication number: 20190169882
Abstract: A lock, comprising a lock latch and a detent pawl, wherein the lock latch can be brought into open and closed positions, the lock latch in the closed position can be brought into engagement with a striker or the like, wherein the detent pawl can be brought into an engaged position in which said detent pawl fixes the lock latch in the closed position, and wherein the detent pawl can be lifted into a release position wherein the detent pawl releases the lock latch. The detent pawl can be brought into the release position by an actuating arrangement, a crash element is provided, said crash element can be adjusted by the crash-induced deformation of said component into a crash position, and the crash element in the crash position or an element coupled thereto blocks the detent pawl and/or the actuating arrangement or decouples the actuating arrangement from the detent pawl.
