  • Patent number: 4986954
Abstract: The device comprises a measurement conduit (10) mounted movably in a guide tube connecting the reactor vessel to an instrumentation room which the measurement conduit (10) enters by passing through a sealing nozzle (25). The measurement conduit encloses peripheral sheaths (14) fastened around a central sheath (13). Measuring probes are fastened to the end of cables (16) and mounted movably, each inside a leakproof peripheral sheath (14). The nozzle (25) comprises a leakproof chamber (40). At their ends, each of the peripheral sheaths (14) of the conduit (10) comprises a leakproof passage (50, 50') for the sliding exit of the measurement cable (16) into the chamber (40). Leakproof passge devices (52) for each of the cables (16) are also placed in an exit wall (42) of the chamber (40) of the nozzle (25).

  • Patent number: 4917853
Abstract: The outer tubular shroud (14) of the measuring pipe (10) comprises a plurality of internally machined spacers (30), each intended to receive a set of measuring devices (32). The spacers (30) are connected by successive lengths of flexible tubing. The outer shroud (14) is open at its end part which emerges into the reactor core and comprises openings (27) in its side wall. This shroud is thus placed under equal pressure and the measuring devices (32) are in direct contact with the reactor coolant fluid.

  • Patent number: 4545562
Abstract: Device for elimination of vibrations of a valve for decompression of an enclosure containing a fluid under pressure, comprising a lever articulated on the valve body in two parts. The first part is integrally fixed to a spindle mounted to rotate in the valve body. This part comprises a rocker arm and its end opposite the rocker arm is connected to the valve stem. The second part is connected to the moveable armature of an electromagnet and comprises a bearing surface for the tappet. The two parts of the lever are connected through the intermediary of a friction coupling. Movements of the valve beyond the position of locking by the electromagnet are damped by the friction coupling. The invention is applicable in particular to a decompression valve in a pressurized water nuclear reactor.
