  • Patent number: 8235078
Abstract: A filler tube for a tank made of plastic for preventing an incorrect filling of the tank is provided with a permanent magnet, which is accommodated in a liquid-tight manner, and with a plastic holder for holding the permanent magnet. The filler tube of the aforementioned type for a tank made of plastic, which can be manufactured more easily, has fewer components and which can be mounted more easily. To this end, the filler tube is made of plastic and the plastic holder, which holds the permanent magnet, is directly connected in a liquid-tight manner to the filler tube.

  • Patent number: 8091725
Abstract: An anti-twist device for a sealing cap that is located on a fixed connecting piece of a motor vehicle radiator. The sealing cap comprises an external cap part with a grip element and a sealing element, which can be connected to a counter sealing element of the connecting piece and in relation to which the grip element can be rotated. The sealing cap also comprises an internal cap part comprising a valve assembly that is configured in an excess/negative pressure combination. An anti-twist stop acts in the external cap part between the grip element and the sealing element. An anti-twist device of this type has a no-load function instead of a locking function and yet has a simple construction and is easy to produce. To achieve this, the anti-twist stop can be actuated by means of a drive, which is controlled by the operating data in the container and is located inside said container in close proximity to the external cap part.

  • Patent number: 8087529
Abstract: A safety closure for steam-pressurized containers of household appliances, such as steam irons, steam cleaners and the like. The safety closure is provided with an inner part that can be screwed onto the filling hole of the container, and with an outer part in the shape of a grip cap. A coupling element is provided between the inner part and the outer part and can be axially displaced against the effect of a spring by a drive controlled by the internal container pressure in such a manner that the outer part and the inner part are interconnected in a rotationally fixed manner when the container is not pressurized The connection being neutralized when the container is pressurized. The aim of the invention is to provide a safety closure whose components that are exposed to the pressure are more solid and therefore function more reliably and whose drive at the same time serves as a protection from an inadmissibly high excess pressure.

  • Publication number: 20100006178
Abstract: A purely mechanically operating incorrect-refueling device for a filler tube of a tank has a receiving element, which can be pressed apart radially from its interior space at least on opposite wall areas, and a flap, which is arranged on the output side of the receiving element, covers the receiving element in locking fashion in the resting state, and is unlocked and can be opened under pressure when the receiving element is pressed apart.

  • Publication number: 20070272690
Abstract: A sealing lid for a fixed nozzle of a container, particularly a motor vehicle radiator having a covering outer part and a covering inner part. The covering outer part comprises a sealing element for a container nozzle and a grip element which can be rotated in relation thereto. A locking piston acts between the grip element and the sealing element of the outer part of the lid. The locking piston, which can be disengaged by applying prestress to a spring or is disengaged, can be engaged by means of a pressure-controlled drive in the form of a membrane. The drive is connected to a pressure-transmitting arrangement positioned in the inner part of the container.

  • Patent number: 6629864
Abstract: An electrical contact (10) which can engage a mating terminal (50) for electrical connection and detachable latching thereto. The contact includes a piece of sheet metal bent to form at least one guide plate (13, 14) and a bias plate (15) lying facewise adjacent to the guide plate. The bias plate has a front end upper portion or nose (38) with a top (104) that lies above an adjacent location (24, 25) on the guide plate, but the nose can be resiliently downwardly deflected and then tends to spring up again. A recess (17) in the bottom of the guide plate front portion receives the mating terminal, and the upper bias of the nose of the bias plate keeps the guide plate pressed down against the terminal lying in its recess, to thereby latch the two connectors together.
